This research project proposal examines the factors promoting under-five mortality in Central Hospital, Uromi. Despite improvements in child healthcare, mortality among children under five remains a significant public health challenge.

The study explores causes such as infectious diseases, malnutrition, late presentation to health facilities, poor immunization coverage, and socioeconomic barriers. Findings from this research can inform strategies to improve pediatric care and child survival.
